Going Green
 |
At Cummins Bridgeway, we define "Going Green" as making decisions and choices that contribute to a cleaner, more sustainable environment. A greener workplace can decrease our ecological footprint, promote a healthier place to work and, in some circumstances, have a positive contribution to the bottom line. This year brought an initiative charged to explore the potential environmentally friendly opportunities within our organization and thus formed the "Bridgeway Climate Change Committee" |
To date, many programs have been implemented to facilitate a more environmentally friendly company. For instance, we have initiated a paper recycling program, limited the number of invoices printed on a regular basis, formed a office products Green Alternatives list, developed a plan for updated lighting in our facilities, and continually educate our employees on what we can all do to reduce our energy consumption and reduce our carbon footprint.
The green movement has developed into a "way of life" here at Cummins Bridgeway. Our customers, suppliers, and competitors have embraced this global change and are asking the same questions as we are: “What are you doing to help the environment”.
