Cummins Bridgeway, LLC has an immediate opening for a Parts Professional at the Cleveland, Ohio Branch.
Job Description/Duties:
This position is responsible for promoting sales of Cummins, ReCon, Onan, and other parts and equipment by promptly and accurately handling customer inquiries and parts orders, both in person and via telephone, in a diplomatic and businesslike manner and to function effectively as a member of the Parts department team to improve overall branch productivity.
Required Qualifications:
•Greeting customers.
•Responsible for ordering, receiving, storing and filling of customers parts orders.
•Assisting with packing and unpacking of parts.
•Assisting with maintenance of Parts Department records.
•Working with Service Department to improve productivity of the Branch.
•Inspecting core and engine components.
•Providing parts sales to walk-in and phone-in customers.
•Drive company vehicle to pick-up and deliver parts.
•Picking up ReCon cores from dealers in assigned territory.
•Unloading company truck as needed or assigned.
•Operating forklift.
•Completing supplier training programs as required.
•Effectively communicating one-on-one and in small groups with employees, customers, managers, vendors and the public.
Skills and Abilities:
• Strong interpersonal and customer relations skills.
•Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
•Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
•Ability to operate a forklift.
•Familiarity and proficiency with parts procurement.
•Familiarity with Windows-based software.
•Legible handwriting.
•Current, valid driver’s license.
•Ability to travel to customer locations.
